The standard pack is made from
pack cloth with a double bottom of 11oz. cordura nylon.
Options include cordura outer pack, extra tool loops\ and
barbells, a hidden inner pocket and a foam back. With it’s
generous capacity, copious tie-on points(9) and ice axe loop,
the pack gives you great versatility for a variety of outings.
The back is made from navy pack cloth and shoulder straps are
fastened to the pack with our standard leather patch. The main
compartment is accessed by a #10 YKK coil zipper and
covered with a pack cloth weather flap. Haul loop, 1” waist
belt with side release buckle and 2" shoulder straps,
padded with EVA foam, are standard.
This modified
"teardrop" is a great improvement over the original teardrop
style and maintains that great stability by having a large
contact area with your back that does not interfere with arm
movement. Made in the USA.
