Larry Horton’s fine design from 1977 embodies uncluttered simplicity and streamlined functionality. We have given the original more vintage styling and put a foam backing in the pack. With it’s generous capacity, copious tie-on points(9) and 1 tool loop, this pack gives you great versatility.
This modified “teardrop” is a great improvement over the original teardrop style and maintains that great stability by having a large contact area with your back that does not interfere with arm movement. The bottom is a double layer of 11oz cordura. The main compartment is accessed by a #10 YKK coil zipper and covered with a weather flap. Haul loop, 1” waist belt with side release buckle and EVA padded shoulder straps are standard.
