This is the pack that put Rivendell Mounatin Works on the map.
Our Flagship Product, The Jensen Pack™ is the original frameless backpack. Perfected by the American climber Don Jensen in the mid-sixties, this classic design’s hallmarks are simplicity,
functionality, durability and aesthetically pleasing good looks. The
Jensen Pack™ is considered by some to be the pivotal design in
the “soft pack” revolution.
Unique to the Jensen Pack™ design is the loading system for the main compartment, which is accessed by zipper on the back
panel. The main compatment is divided vertically up to the point
where the shoulder straps attach. The divider is the key to the
way the pack fits, and gives it shape and stability. There is a lower
compartment that typically is used for a sleeping bag and acts
as the weight transfer system to your waist, much like a fanny
pack.
The volume of this pack varies with the size, please look at the
sizing chart to determine your correct size. For reference here,
the medium holds 51 liters (3105 cu in).
