Mariposa Summit Pack

While the versatile Mariposa holds a great deal, it goes largely unnoticed on your back. Arm movement is unrestricted by the compact shape, and the waist belt keeps the pack where it belongs. As a summit pack, around town carry-all, or weekend bicycle pack, the Mariposa is an outstanding double-duty load carrier. Looking for a child’s first backpack? The padded shoulders ease the load, and, for added comfort, the large single compartment has a sleeve with a closed-cell foam panel against your back as padding. An internal sleeve holds a laptop or water bladder and an internal zip pocket secures your small essentials. The Mariposa is made with 1000D water resistant nylon Cordura with a double layered bottom for protection. The Mariposa uses a 28” #8 YKK zipper with two long pull sliders. Two ice axe loops, a hauling loop, and ten leather attachment points are provided for your sleeping pad, crampons, rope, etc. Leather barbells and shoulder strap patchare made from hand-waxed natural leather that will age and darken beautifully over time.
